The London Winter Wander needs enthusiastic, proactive and practical individuals, to help walking participants complete a 60-90 minute walk from various start locations to converge and finish at Trafalgar Square. Here you can join in the celebrations of the 6^th Cancer Research London Winter Run 10k!

What will you be doing?

At each start location, the volunteer team will work to support those participants from the moment they walk through the door to when they cross the finish line. The roles available are:

Venue Support – welcoming those participants to the start location, help marshal the flow of participants at the venue, be responsible for the registration process and offer general welfare to those walkers before they set off. Once all participants have left the start locations, the venue team will follow up behind the walkers to Trafalgar Square.

Route Team – oversee aspects of the walk, accompanying participants along the route to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the walk and to the finish at Trafalgar Square.

Its not only the participants who are rewarded for crossing the finish line at Trafalgar Square, all volunteers will receive a commemorative medal to celebrate such a great event!

Your shift on event day will be a maximum of 5 hours. A rough idea of shift times for the event will be 08:30-13:30.We will not know exact timings until nearer the event date, so more accurate information will be shared with you in the run up to the event.To sign up, simply fill in our quick online registration form with all your details.
